A few minutes after putting you in your crib for a time out after your threw my phone on the ground, you just came skipping into our room to find me. Yep, you just climbed out of your crib for the first time.

Brush and comb

Thanks for combing my hair this morning. So sweet of you. 

I also handed you one of my make-up brushes just now, and after "brushing" your own face, you walked up to me and said "mommy!" I knelt down and you brushed my face. Are you a little make up artist or hair stylist-to be? I don't know, but you melt my heart when you do things like this. I love you.

18 months!

Hello Evie! 

We had your 18 month checkup this morning. 18 MONTHS?! That couldn't be right! You weigh 27 pounds and are over 33" tall! 

The funniest part was when I was getting you ready to be weighed, you jumped off the exam table and into my arms. I snapped this and sent it to daddy at work. You're so sweet when you want to be!

You do so many funny and sweet things now, and of course you're still a complete genius. But can we knock off the hitting and kicking phase? Not fun.
